At the core, meet.coop is a platform project. Two other kinds of project can be anticipated as extensions of this. We outline them here.
On the basis of a practice that secures this mission above Platform project, it may also be possible to mount extension projects. In meet.coop v1.0 we attempted to include these in the core. Realistically, we now must approach them as extensions that may or may not be viable, depending on whether projects can assemble a sustainable micro-economy of contributions. Extension projects depend to a large extent on contributions of gift work by Stewards: see Board membership and contributions. - **Infrastructuring through federating**: expanded federation of digital tools‑infrastructuring operations, across regions, languages, communities and toolstacks.
